- Appropriate for all ages – No swimming experience necessary
- 88°-92° saline, outdoor, covered pool – Use of Jacuzzi for all class participants
- Medical clearance required if you are pregnant of have a history of health conditions
- Aquatic shoes required – Aquatic shoes and Aquatic jackets available for purchase
- Class Registration is month to month: $64 per month 2 x week Tuesday and Thursday
- Trial class or Individual class: $10 per class
- Saturday classes may resume at a later date
Class Descriptions
T/Th: 1:00pm-2:00pm; 2:00pm-3:00pm
This class provides comprehensive exercises beneficial for people with rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson’s fibromyalgia, pregnancy, etc. using a variety of modified positions providing cardiovascular improvement, muscular strength, endurance & mobility. Water workouts gently move joints & muscles in warm water, decreasing stiffness & pain. This class will demonstrate joint range of motion & mobility in the water, complementing land movement.
T/Th: 3:00pm—4:00pm
Walking in the warm water is less impacting on your joints & is easier than walking on land. This class is an independent workout allowing the participant the freedom to work out at their own pace & create their own program, under the supervision of the Aquatics Instructor.
T/Th: 4:00pm—5:00pm
This aerobics class will get your blood pumping while incorporating the element of fun! High Impact will include a variety of exciting workouts & circuit training aerobic activity.
